Our Work
COHatch Storefront Project
-
After
Planted 7x Horizontal Cocoplum shrubs, 2x Tropical Sage, and 1x Hammock Twinflower in organic soil with brown mulch. The oak tree roots posed a challenge, but we worked around them without harming the tree.
-
After
Planted 36x Frogfruit plants that will quickly spread and take over the bed for a lush, low-maintenance groundcover that will grow in this part-shade area.
-
After
Planted 3x Dwarf Shiny Coffe shrubs that will be easy to maintain below the window, that provide a luxurious look, and that are low-maintenance and shade-tolerant.
-
After
Planted Florida-natives White and Red Tropical Sage (pre-blooms in this photo) for vertical beauty and Hammock Twinflower to spill over the edge of the planters once grown-in over the coming weeks.
-
Before
Nextdoor to COHatch is a restaurant with outdoor seating by this flower bed. Nothing was growing here because the soil quality was poor and the wrong plants were planted in the past.
-
Before
Both businesses use this area for signage, and it is the first section of the property visible from Central Avenue. It was overgrown with weeds, and the native Sabal Palms were cracking the sidewalk.
-
Before
Right by the front door of COHatch was this bed, filled with mishappen Scheffleras, old gravel, grass, and refuse. Replaced with Horizontal Cocoplums and brown mulch to match the color-scheme of the building.
-
Before
Between the two front doors of the two neighboring businesses in this building, these planters were overgrown and had an outdated and generic look. We replanted them with eye-catching Florida-native wildflowers.
